Our sustainability program was created to contribute to a sustainable future that ensures the well-being of present and future generations.

We want to help feed a growing world population in a sustainable manner by delivering a positive and lasting impact on the animals we breed, the people we work with, and the environment in which we operate. To support this ambition, we have defined the material stakes in our sustainability program and accelerated efforts to integrate sustainability more tightly as part of the business strategy and daily activities.

To highlight our efforts in creating a more sustainable world, Hendrix Genetics publishes a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report every two years. This report gives examples from each sustainability stake and demonstrates our impact on the environment and community. Every day we work on our mission of better breeding today for a brighter life tomorrow for animals, people, and the planet.

One of the ways in which we realize our commitment to help solve the global food challenge is through developing local sustainability initiatives. We are proud to be able to lead SAPPSA, a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and collaborate with many other stakeholders to bring prosperity to African smallholder farmers through superior poultry breeds.
